Shadow Creek Ranch is located in two school districts. The Brazoria County portion of Shadow Creek Ranch is located in the Alvin Independent School District. The Fort Bend County portion of Shadow Creek Ranch is located in the Fort Bend Independant School District.

Children in Brazoria County, attend the following Alvin ISD schools:

  • Children in K-5th grade who live in The Village of Emerald Bay attend Mary Burks Marek Elementary School just south of Shadow Creek Parkway on Kirby Drive. For more information call 713-436-0180 or visit their web site.
  • Children in K-5th grade who live in The Village of Reflection Bay and The Village of Biscayne Bay attend the new Laura Ingalls Wilder Elementary School located on Kingsley Drive at Regents Bay Drive. For more information call 281-245-3090 or visit their web site.
  • Alvin ISD has begun construction on new Elementary School #14 in Shadow Creek Ranch at the southwest corner of Kingsley and Trinity Bay. The school is expected to open in June 2011 and will be ready for students when the 2011-2012 school year begins in August 2011.
  • Children in 6th-8th grade attend the new Nolan Ryan Junior High on Shadow Creek Parkway. For more information call 281-245-3210 or visit their web site.
  • Students in grades 9-12 attend Manvel High School which opened in 2006. Located on 100+ acres at Highway 6 and McCoy in Manvel, the school is approximately 11 minutes from Shadow Creek Ranch. Phase I is complete. It is 220,113 square feet and will accommodate 1,500 students. The second phase will be 103,960 square feet and accommodate an additional 1,000 students. Children in Fort Bend County attend the following Fort Bend ISD schools:

The community plan includes a total of 6 school sites on 115 acres to accommodate student demand as the development grows.
