HCA Gulf Coast Division has completed construction on its $71 million, 144,000-square-foot Pearland Medical Center with Specialties in Orthopedics, Women’s Services, Emergency Care and Cardiovascular Health.
The hospital features surgical suites, medical/surgical beds, intensive care beds and a 24-hour emergency department. Imaging services include magnetic resonance imaging, computerized tomography, a catheterization lab, echocardiogram testing, and nuclear medicine modalities. The Center’s new women’s services provides digital mammography, labor and delivery suites, cesarean-section operating rooms and a newborn nursery.
Pearland Medical Center is located at the southwest intersection of Highway 288 and Shadow Creek Parkway on a 48-acre site adjacent to a full-service, freestanding emergency department, imaging center and 3-story, 80,000 square foot medical office building. HCA Pearland Emergency and Imaging Center (HCA) (pictured at top of page) offers emergency medical treatment and imaging services in a convenient location with significantly shorter waiting times than at hospital-based emergency centers. The 78,000-square-foot Center which opened in July 2006 is staffed 24 hours a day by board-certified physicians, all with extensive emergency treatment experience. The state-of-the-art Emergency Center is equipped to handle minor emergencies such as lacerations, sprains, strains, fractures, allergic reactions and middle-of-the-night fevers, aches and pains. The Imaging Center offers cutting-edge Diagnostic Radiology, CT Scan, Digital X-Ray and Ultrasound. Memorial Hermann Health System broke ground on its new medical campus in Pearland on Thursday, July 25, 2013.
The Memorial Hermann Pearland Medical Complex will include a convenient care center, scheduled to open early next year, that will provide one-stop, highly coordinated access to adult and pediatric primary care, specialty physicians, outpatient imaging and lab services, and a 24-hour emergency room.
The centerpiece of the medical campus will be a 64-bed acute care hospital, which will open in 2015. It will feature an intensive care unit, operating rooms, cardiac catheterization labs, medical/surgical units, Lifeflight helipad, sports medicine, and women’s services.
Memorial Hermann also opened a 70,000-square-foot medical office building and ambulatory surgery center with features including four operating rooms, two endoscopy procedure rooms, physician office space and an imaging center that offers MRIs, CTs, mammograms, X-rays and ultrasounds.
